After qualifying in Agriculture from Pietermaritzburg University in 1975, moved to the UK and managed a very large dairy farm in Hereford, SW England. Continued to manage dairy enterprises across the Atlantic in British Columbia for a further year before returning to SA to study medicine.

Qualified in medicine from Pretoria in 1983 and worked in the large academic hospital in Bloemfontein before gaining additional experience in a London teaching hospital and finally across in Canada for an additional year in Fort Nelson close to the Yukon Border. Returned to SA and served the remote Southern regions of Namibia as a flying doctor and stand in vet and dentist for a further 2 years. Back in SA, continued to practice as a family physician in the Southern regions of the Drakensberg and finally Polokwane before moving to Johannesburg where I had an appointment in the corporate world for a few years. Retrained in Aesthetic medicine and gained several years of valuable experience with a notable company before moving to Laserderm.

Here at Laserderm, besides offering the usual aesthetic procedures,we can optimize the power and functionality of the latest laser technology to improve and enhance ageing facial and body skin, lessen, and at times eliminate, age related skin conditions and improve body dysmorphia.
